The Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (CPPT) is an independent part of the Charles University that provides services and information in support of knowledge and technology transfer and creates opportunities and the environment for their spreading in agreement with fulfillment of the third role of the university with the objective to increase its competitiveness and attractiveness for students, employees and general public. The Centre is developing an innovation network of at the Charles University by interconnecting members of the academic community across all its faculties and organizational units. It is also developing the network through cooperation with innovative organizations outside the Charles University, intermediation of knowledge, experience, services, information and funds. For potential partners it serves as a gateway, guide and mediator.

Every year we participate in several research projects in partnership with Czech universities, institutions and international R&D performing companies and institutions. We have successfully implemented projects under EUROSTARS programme, Framework programmes (FP6, FP7) and NORWAY GRANTS projects.

LIAZ a.s. is currently engaged in the development and production of unmanned helicopters. This is a new line of business as a continuation of the long tradition of LIAZ truck production. The company was founded in 1951 and later on, having already 10 manufacturing plants with 11,000 employees, was producing up to 13,600 trucks a year. LIAZ a.s. is not just a supplier of unmanned helicopter complexes. The company also offers specialized systems and other specific services (including a whole range of payload systems and software) as well as technical tools associated with the use of a helicopter (SkySpotter 150 B and SkySpotter 150 C simplified specialty versions).
